We're reopening membership soon (a few weeks at most). I wouldn't use
it for huge production sites quite yet, but I've had my site hosted
with the coop since before it was a coop (about seven years now).

Costs run under ten bucks a month unless you want to pledge more. For
that you get a jabber account, imap/pop email, infinite vmail hosts, a
shell account, an afs volume that you can mount from whereever, and
the ability to run /any/ internet daemon you want. A bunch of people
are running Scheme and Ocaml web applications, and all of our
management software and portal is written in SML.
