[CALUG] 2 Questions regarding network storage clusters.

Hello,
I'm doing some research on clustered storage server solutions, and it 
brought up a couple of questions.

1) Benchmarking: I'm wondering about the general feelings towards 
Bonnie++ and Iometer.
Both seem to be getting a reasonable amount of positive press. But good 
press isn't always an indicator
for quality software.

2) In a situation where a motherboard inside of a clustered system 
failed. What are the options for migrating
the physical disks to a backup chassis and being able to rebuild it into 
the cluster?
