I hope I'm not breaking any rule about posting a job announcement.

Normally I don't post these publicly, but we are specifically looking for someone with strong Unix sysadmin skills, willing to learn computer forensics.  CALUG would appear to be a good place to look for "strong Unix skills" in the DC area.

JOB SUMMARY:
The NASA Office of the Inspector General (OIG) serves as an independent audit and investigative organization. We conduct objective oversight of NASA programs and operations and independently report to the Administrator, Congress, and the public to further the Agency's accomplishment of its mission. The OIG consists of approximately 200 auditors, analysts, specialists, investigators, attorneys and support staff at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC, and NASA Centers throughout the U.S.
The incumbent of this position will be responsible for providing specialized Computer Forensics and other technical support to network intrusion and criminal investigations. The position will also be responsible for maintaining the information technology systems used by the Computer Crimes Division.
