      <pre>Does anyone know of a proven solution to retrieve data from a ext4 deletion?

Situation:
- Using precise 12.04.3 with ext4
- apt-get corrupted due to an abrupt "update terminate" the previous day.
- Did a "rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/* and it deleted all my
folders in home directory
&gt; Dec 17 17:26:47 M15 sudo:        z : TTY=pts/3 ; PWD=/home/z ;
&gt; USER=root ; COMMAND=/bin/rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/ 16~
&gt; 9fcfd507f29b2ecf5a.pdf
- There were additional folders/files to it which are now gone
- i do not know what the "16~" refers

Please advise!

Zach
