<div dir="ltr"><div>Greetings All,<br><br></div>We will be welcoming our very own Gareth Digby giving a talk entitled "Using the Texas Instrument MSP 430 Launchpad with Linux”<br><br> Gareth Digby will talk about using the Texas Instrument MSP 430
Launchpad experimenter board with an Lubuntu Linux distribution. The
presentation will cover the background to Gareth using the MSP 430 and a
description of the MSP 430 experimenter board and processor. The
presentation will discuss setting up the Lubuntu Linux distribution for
cross platform development and show a simple development cycle for the
MSP 430. The presentation will conclude with demonstrations of cross
platform development using the Linux distribution to build and then run
various small applications on the MSP 430.<br><br>The meeting will take place at OmniTI, located in Fulton, MD. The<br>address is 11830 West Market Place Fulton, MD 20759. The building is<br>near the Harris Teeter, easily seen from the road. When you approach the<br>HT head on, the OmniTI office is to its right. We'll be using the back <br>entrance which is surrounded by plants which will lead directly to the <br>meeting room.<br><br>Be
