Here's a kick in the pants for you.

If you are in IT, and you have been recommending Microsoft server solutions - you may just be putting yourself out of a job.

How so?

Microsoft is now working on "Containerized" server farms. These would do away with data centers. They would be mounted on trucks, parked in parking lots, and be turn-key appliances requiring no human support

This is not a joke.

It isn't real yet, but... if you are in IT, you may need to head for trucking school, the next hot MS certification may just be a MCTD - Microsoft Certified Truck Driver ;-)
