Well, everything has taken longer than I expected, but it's
finally out there. The RenaissanceCore IDS is available
for download at:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/renaissancecore
There is a Debian archive with the 4 packages, which is
the best way to go because it includes initialization scripts.
I have tested the install several times, which is not to say
it is flawless. But, the only real gotcha is that the Debian
Gui packages requires Sun Java, which is in the non-free
archives. The install instructions explain how to deal with
this, but it's worth making special note of it.
Otherwise, the source code is available in individual tar
files. There are instructions on installing it, but I haven't
thoroughly tested them.
