Unix Developer
The candidate must be familiar with UNIX daemons, file manipulation, packet
sniffing, network TCP/IP communications, encryption and secure coding. The
candidate must also have a strong understanding of UNIX operating system
internals and security models. 

Tenable's enterprise products operate on the Linux Red Hat ES platform, but
also include packages and agents which run on Solaris, MAC OS X, FreeBSD and
others. 

Tenable products perform network vulnerability scanning, port scanning,
network sniffing, system configuration analysis and log gathering. Any
experience with these types of technologies on UNIX (or Windows) platforms
is desirable. 

Any additional expertise in Window MFC or .NET programming as well as PHP
scripting is also desirable.

Tenable developers work in a team environment and often work on multiple
interesting and challenging projects which change every few months. 

Tenable developers also get to see their work deployed to help protect the
security and integrity of customers in a wide variety of military,
financial, academic and health care organizations.

Windows Developer
Tenable Network Security is seeking a Windows developer to assist in ongoing
development and maintenance of several computer security products and
utilities. 

The candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Foundation Class programming,
.NET, installation packaging and Microsoft operating systems internals. 

Tenable products perform network vulnerability scanning, port scanning,
network sniffing, system configuration analysis, 3D visualization and log
gathering. Any experience with these types of technologies on Windows
platforms is desirable. 

Any additional expertise in PHP or UNIX C programming is also desirable.

Tenable developers work in a team environment and often work on multiple
interesting and challenging projects which change every few months. 

Tenable developers also get to see their work deployed to help protect the
security and integrity of customers in a wide variety of military,
financial, academic and health care organizations.
