Chuck-

Thanks for the email, and for the AMAZING updates! Please pass on that
during my trip, I was hauled up in front of a church service and publicly
thanked (extolled!) for installing and running the church's web server. I
didn't even realize that we were running the church's server, but a trusted
Ugandan friend have asked for a domain and space (which we gladly provided)
and he took it upon himself to develop the site from scratch for them.
Without doing a lick of work (other than domain registration and a few lines
in an Apache config) we had saved the church a (ton!) of money they had
budgeted for the website. It was such a big need for them, and we filled it
through an associate on the ground. This type of thing is a really big deal.
I can't stress it enough. Our bandwidth/service donor is simply amazing, and
we're really only scratching the surface with our existing offerings.

This project is a high priority for me because it puts into motion a great
idea. Providing web service for disadvantaged clients is such a big deal
for them, and if your servers are implemented efficiently, it can be very
little work for us. Also, please note that this server creates microfinance
opportunities for the tech savvy in country. They can develop the site for
our clients for a small price, and offer free lifetime hosting. This type of
business can literally transform our tech brother's future, providing
sustainable income and lifting him and his family out of poverty. It's
really cool stuff.

So I encourage you to keep plugging along and to encourage everyone on the
team that this is so much bigger than a simple web hosting project!
