[CALUG] VGA Video Out to TV

Hey Folks,

I have a Lenovo T60p (KUbuntu Hardy) with a VGA out (no S-Video) and
would like to display video to a TV. Ideally I would be able to produce
both composite video and S-Video.

Does anyone have experience with a linux-compat hardware which can do this?

I see a lot of pcmcia/pc-express cards which do video, but they are all
for video capture and don't seem to provide output (or am I missing
something?).

There also might be a USB solution. I found this USB device
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000J1CCGA/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance
but once again the specs all talk about video in.

I know there are some separate hardware devices out there too such as
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000A0BOB/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance
but I am not sure if this will work for my situation.

I know little in this area, and maybe there is a simple solution.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Sean
