OpenGL over X (GLX) can have its own requirements of the
X-Server (client).  Cygwin/X should be capable, but it all depends
on the application.
Sometimes, when you consider the cost of software solutions, it's
cheaper to just put a 2nd desktop running Linux on the user's desk
instead.  Use x2 or something to minimize input devices.  Seriously. ;)
