hi calug community,

    after tomorrow's meeting i'd be interested in chatting with any  
group members who are interested in computers in education.  here's a  
book review i wrote last week about an excellent new guidebook to  
Scratch, the free computer programming tool from MIT.

     Scratch currently runs under Ubuntu in beta form. the final  
Scratch for Ubuntu ought to be ready sometime next year.
