[CALUG] Kdenlive, was Re: using inkscape for digital storytelling

I tried switching from Kino to Kdenlive, but it is not very smooth and it
crashed on my couple of times, either dueto the video driver or video
memory.

Its interface does look more like the App in OS X, so the transition will be
easy. If you have a good video card, then you should not have a problem.

For importing, I use Kino and use Kdenlive to edit the video and add
transitions.

If you are a subscriber for Linux Format, they had an article for using
kdenlive couple of months ago. If not, let me know and I will email you the
article. (please include email address)
