Here is an interesting article on the future of IPv4, which has obvious 
implications for IPv6:

Is there any interest in a presentation on IPv6?  I have a little bit of 
experience with it, and am working on a project where I will be getting 
more.  So in about 3 months, I could at least give an introduction to 
IPv6 with a little bit of detail on some of the more interesting issues, 
such as Routing, Ad Hoc Networking (Plug and Play), and as always, Security.
