Overview:  The client needs Linux Administration support with regards to their Application Specific Integrated Circuits or Field Programmable Gate Array initiatives (ASIC / FPGA).  

Principal Responsibilities

Act as primary Linux Administrator working with engineering CAD administrators to deploy and maintain a production worthy environment. 
Install & Configure commercial engineering software. 
Assist end users in troubleshooting application errors 
Provide Linux administration for a high performance computing network. 
Identify, procure and install new components 
Contribute to the technical direction of the Linux computing infrastructure 
Provide Windows server administration support.
Required:

2+ years 
BS in Engineering, IS / IT or similiar 
Experience providing Linux administration support 
Experience providing Windows Server support 

Preferred:

Experience with Application Specific Integrated Circuts (ASIC) and/or Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) design applications 
Current RHCSA and RHCE or LPI certifications are a plus but not required 
Current MCSE, A+ and Net+ certificates are a plus but not required
