Not long ago I used to pay $12 to $15 for USB wifi adapters. Now they're down in the $7 to $8 range.

These are useful in making Chromeboxes from discarded computers. Keep in mind, if a discarded Pentium IV computer has no hard drive, you can boot it to Chromium OS from a USB Flash drive -- and then use one of these USB wifi adapters to let you place your homemade Chromebox anywhere in your house or apartment.
We can beat our swords into ploughshares and our discarded computers into Linux systems.
