Greetings All,

For the March 12th meeting I will be giving a talk entitled 'Better
Mobile Email'. This will be a talk based on a lightning talk given by
Paul Frields and utilizing his slides.

We are also welcoming a new pizza sponsor this month, Tenable Network
Security. Many of you know that Tenable hosted our group for many years.
They are back beginning this month as the sponsor for pizza and soda. I
want to thank them for stepping in and providing this for us. Be sure to
visit their web site if you want to learn more about them or explore the
job opportunities if you are in the market for a new challenge (be sure
to mention our group if you get in contact with them).

Abstract:

Many people find themselves travelling with their laptops and even in
today's world there are many times where you find yourself offline or
disconnected from a particular network, VPN, or similar used for email.
For these times that typically means that processing email is not an
option. However, that does not need to be the case. Utilizing a
combination of offlineimap, postfix, and mutt (or most any email client)
you can handle your saved emails, make responses, and have them sent
automatically when you reconnect.

The meeting will take place at OmniTI, located in Fulton, MD. The
address is 11830 West Market Place Fulton, MD 20759. The building is
near the Harris Teeter, easily seen from the road. When you approach the
HT head on, the OmniTI office is to its right.

We'll be using the back entrance which is surrounded by plants which
will lead directly to the meeting room.

Be sure to show up from 6:30 until 7 for pizza provided by Tenable
Network Security and socializing. The meeting will start about 7pm.
