[CALUG] Opensource-MD Important Meeting

The Opensource-MD group started in 2007 as Ubuntu-MD team by Chuck Frain and others. We currently meet at the Howard County library central branch on the third Thursday of the month. 
The group decided to broaden its scope in 2011 to cover all open-source programs and dropped the Ubuntu affliation. In 2013, we focused on the Raspberry Pii system and the many applications that could be ran on this micro platform. Those meetings were well attended. 
Over the past year meeting attendance has dropped off significantly. We think that the group needs a new focus and this could best be accomplished with new leadership. Both Chuck and I have a full plate with running the Calug group and Ubuntu-MD Loco. We can no longer devote the time that is needed to reinvigorate the Opensource-MD group. 
We are therefore asking for volunteers to lead this group to the next level. If you are interested, please respond to either Chuck or me. 
Our next meeting is Thur, Mar 19 at 7 pm where we will discuss the future of the group.
