[CALUG] Tools for AWS

Anyone know of inventory scanning tools in amazon? It can be 3rd party
tools.
One of the issues that we (with my clients) are trying to solve is to have
scanning tools similar to the data center tools to get the inventory of
things that is running.

Another question - has anyone used splunk or something similar in AWS? If
not, what do you guys use?
