[CALUG] CALUG Meeting Annoucement March 10 - Joplin

Greetings Everyone.

For the March 10th event, be welcoming Amand McGlothlin to discuss some
features of the note taking and to-do list application Joplin (
https://joplinapp.org).

Joplin is an open-source, cross-platform note taking tool. It was
architected to be easily customizable and can be used for basic notes or
even developing a personal knowledgebase. In this session, we will cover
the basics of using the app on desktop and mobile, a brief overview of the
plugin ecosystem, the basics of the API, and how to customize the app.

Amanda McGlothlin is a UX designer and developer based in California. She
cofounded Headquarters HQ, a company focused on sharing knowledge and tools
through consulting and building custom products.

NOTE: At the speaker's request, we will be recording this event and it may
be posted online afterwards. So the plan is that our time before the talk
will not be recorded. I will make an announcement before the recording
starts. We will have our presentation and normal questions during and post
presentation. I will stop the recording and have a second post Q&A period
for those that may not be comfortable asking questions during the recorded
portion of the talk.

We are going to be holding the meeting online for the foreseeable future.
Our friends at Aplura have graciously provided us access to their Zoom
account for our use. I intend to open the call at 6:45pm and begin the
presentation, if applicable, at 7pm. There is a password to join the

the details that follow here. When joining participants will be muted and
