We have a position available for a mid-level (2-5 Years Experience)
Mac/Linux admin at a Educational/Research Institute in Baltimore.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Solaris and Windows 2000
operating systems, with in-depth knowledge of Mac and Linux.
Familiarity with a major DBMS (Sybase, Oracle or MS-SQL), and networking
is desirable. Knowledge of Remedy's ARsystem helpdesk software or
equivalent required. Knowledge of a variety of application software
packages across computer platforms required. Experience working with
scientific systems or software desirable. Ability to use independent
judgment to troubleshoot problems, assess criticality and apply
solutions consistent with policy and procedure. Excellent customer
relation skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong verbal and
written communications skills are essential. Must be able to actively
contribute to and work in a team environment.
