This has nothing to do with the RDP question.

The aforementioned requests go to ErrorLog.

ErrorLog does not support the CustomLog directive.

Okay.  I felt your question was answered by others, but then
I realized you were also asking about RDP.  So I figured this

What are the custom logging rules not giving you?

I don't have a "favorite Linux distro."  I use, develop
and support community efforts, often built around Linux.
Technology and solutions are my focus, not dragging in
assumptions, marketing and other concepts which dominate
non-community developed software, which I left long ago.
