Hi Jason:

At least I am not the only one who missed that.


A work-around suggested on 2004-09-02 at by eKstreme is at:

     http://www.4webhelp.net/tutorials/misc/errors.php

This looks like a nice solution because your CGI program/script can be 
written to not only build a custom error log file, but to also present 
(mis)information to the visitor who attempted access using an expired 
certificate.
