hi calug community,
i've assembled several small-form-factor (sff) pentium III
computers with lcd monitors into a mini ubuntu computer lab that can
easily be transported and set up for various purposes. i don't have
wifi on these computers yet, but that's planned, too.
i'm loaning out this computer lab for free to anyone in the calug
community who could could this for a training or internet access
stations at a conference or the like. the reason i assembled this
computer lab is to explore the free app called iTalc, which also runs
on windows.
     see http://italc.sourceforge.net/
give a holler if you could use this computer lab for an event or
training. i live in takoma park and can sometimes assist with
transporting the lab.
and if anyone on this list has surplus pentium III (or pentium
IV) small-form-factor computers, i'd love to grow this lab to about 10
computers. i'm also on the lookout for a few more 15-inch and 17-inch
lcd monitors.
           phil
