It's been my experience that Scratch can be enjoyed by children as
young as 2nd grade (maybe younger, too) right up through 8th grade.
Scratch has been called, ?The best educational software on the planet.?

Scratch runs under Ubuntu Linux -- as well as under Macs and Windows
operating systems. Scratch 1.4 for Ubuntu can be downloaded from this
link. http://tinyurl.com/22n6f4k
