[CALUG] Blu-Ray reading / writing

It has been a few months since I built my PC and I wanted to start using
my Blu-ray writer to backup my pictures and files.
Unfortunately, I do not have any program to write to the Blu-ray disc. I
had to use my Windows-7 under VirtualBox to write to the disc.

1. Any program free or commercial which I can use? Nero?
2. Even though I used my Windows-7 VB to burn the disc, I am unable to read
the disc under Linux.
3. Windows-7 VirtualBox auto-recognises it and mounts it.

Any advise is welcome.
