[CALUG] Meeting Announcement -- June 8th Introduction to Docker

Greetings Everyone!

For the June 8th meeting we will be welcoming our own Eddie Roache. His
talk will be an introduction to Docker.

Docker is a lightweight virtualization alternative. It helps automate the
deployment of applications by bundling everything needed (code, runtime,
system tools, system libraries, configuration files, and anything else)
into a 'container'. This 'container' can then be deployed to a variety of
environments (e.g., development, test, integration, production). This talk
will give a overview of docker, it's typical uses, and a small
demonstration of interacting with the Docker software.

We are also welcoming a new pizza sponsor this month, Parsons! Brett Hite

The meeting will take place at OmniTI, located in Fulton, MD. The address
is 11830 West Market Place Fulton, MD 20759. The building is located near
the Harris Teeter, easily seen as you approach on rt 216. As you approach
the Harris Teeter head on, the OmniTI offices are in the complex to the
right. We will be using the back entrance which is surrounded by plants and
leads directly to the meeting room.
